SAY NO TO THE BELUGA IMPORT!
Cyber Whale Warriors has an ongoing campaign asking asking people to write and send in postcards to the Georgia Aquarium urging them not to import 18 wild-caught Beluga Whales from Russia. The whales are currently being held in a facility waiting to be imported into the U.S.
In September the NOAA will have a period of time for the public to comment on the permit. Cyber Whale Warrios is calling forth fellow whale lovers to polietly ask them to rethink their decision in the form of a postcard, which they are hoping to all be mailed to the Aquarium by the first week of September.
The address in which letters should be sent to is:
Attn:David Kimmel
Georgia Aquarium
225 Baker Street NW
Atlanta, GA 30313You are allowed to decorate the postcard however you like but it must express polietly why you think the Georgia Aquarium shouldn’t import these beautiful animals.
Please share this around and send in your postcard ASAP!
